lyrics

Wisdom's lying dead in the streets. The earth can hear the cries of her blood. There's nothing left to keep us from evil. There's nothing left but misguided love.
You know love without Wisdom is like loaded gun, it'll kill you without even knowing it's done wrong, at all.

But there will come a day, yes there will come a day of reckoning.

Recently I've had thoughts that a man should not utter aloud. I've plotted murder, I've watched your blood spill on my hands and I tell you I'm not proud.
If hating a sinner is evil, then to love one is truly divine. If hating your brother is considered sin, then I say, you're no brother of mine.

But there will come a day, yes there will come a day of reckoning.

There will come a day when peace and love shall reign, and the forgiveness that's buried deep inside of my chest will blossom once again.
But today is not that day, no today is not your day.

There will come a day...
When the blood and the sweat that collect on my brow, from the work of my hands holding steady the plow, will be blotted away with the wrong that I've done and the stars will explode into 10 million suns, while a chorus of angels is heavenly sung, of the darkness destroyed and the victory won.

But today is not that day, no today is not your day.
